4。5 stars。 Love this author so much。 I’m generally not big on science fiction but because I love Mariana Zapata and since this was a surprise release， I didn’t have time to think about it。 I just one-clicked that bitch and settled in for the ride。 And boy am I glad that i I did！ The genre is a departure for her but the characters are grumpy and wary and funny and so typical of others she’s written who I’ve adored。
